Marie’s World in Books

After taking some time away to catch up on reading my Advanced reads this month, continue to write my own novel and plan the rest of the years Book Club meetings/events, I have finally got some well deserved annual leave from the day job next week to really get this blog fully operational.

With many exciting book reviews to post from previously read books to talking about the many exciting future publications out this year from new authors and already adored authors I have grown to go back to their latest books to continue the series and find out what the main characters have been doing, its like a ‘hug in a blanket’ catching up with friends you have known for years.

I have some new developments in the pipeline to add as well – I have decided to add an ‘AUTHOR SHOWCASE’ section to the page, promoting their latest publication, etc. The first will be published at the end of April and I am so excited to meet them in just a few short weeks – currently reading their latest story for my book clubs ‘ Book of the Month’ for April.

Each month we have a chosen theme – either a set book or a set theme/genre but any book you choose under that heading which broadens the amount of varied books and expands the conversations too. Many of us have come across Authors we have never thought of reading before and have actually really enjoyed the authors writing so much that we have gone on to find more of their works. I have found out that although I’m not a lover of Historical Fiction as a whole – quite a few novels I have ‘advanced read’ are actually under that genre as well as others.
